We micro-roast coffee in a facility running almost entirely on solar power, harvest eggs directly from free range chickens, make all our baked goods with organic ingredients, and serve all of it with a smile thanks to our friendly and knowledgeable baristas. Starting in the mid-nineties as an organic vegetable farm in the Finger Lakes region of New York, Tierra Farm quickly developed into a CSA, a farm-to-table café, and didn’t stop there. Looking for ways to get through long upstate winters, Tierra Farm began to branch out to baking, and then to small batch roasting of organic nuts and granola. As the product line expanded, eventually the next logical step became micro-roasting small batches of Fair Trade, organic coffees. In 2010, Tierra Coffee Roasters was born, and a short year later, Tierra took a return to roots, bringing freshly roasted beans direct to consumers in a café setting via our first coffee shop at 1038 Madison Ave, Albany.
